Pulsar Blitz
This policy explains what information the mobile game Pulsar Blitz ("the game") handles, why, and what choices you have. The game is published by Flowveld Games ([LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], Belgium), the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
The short version
- You don't create an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other contact details.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device. We have no server that receives it.
- The game shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you're asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
Information stored on your device
Your progress (currencies, upgrades, research, cards, equipment, quests, settings and the time you last played) is saved in the game's private storage on your device. It is used only to run the game, it is not sent to us, and it is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data. If your device's own backup service (such as Android backup) is turned on, it may include this data under that service's terms.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game offers optional rewarded ads: you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward. The game never shows ads you didn't ask for. The ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), which may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID,
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version),
- how you interact with ads.
It uses this to serve ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, only with your consent, personalise ads.
Consent. If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform, a Google-certified consent management platform) before any ads load. You can accept or refuse personalised ads. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalised ads, which rely on contextual information rather than your profile. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Legal basis. Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for personalised advertising and for storing or accessing information on your device where that requires consent. Our legitimate interest in funding the game (Art. 6(1)(f)) for non-personalised ads, fraud prevention and ad measurement.
Opting out. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Starter Pack. If you buy the Starter Pack, the game no longer requests ads from AdMob; ad rewards are collected with a tap instead.
In-app purchases (Google Play)
Purchases (the Starter Pack, Credit multipliers, Cores packs and Stardust packs) are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. We receive only what's needed to deliver and restore a purchase: the product, a purchase token and order ID, and the purchase status. We never receive your name, email address or payment details. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Reminders (notifications)
If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your device (for example when research finishes or your daily reward is ready). They are created and shown entirely on your device; no information is sent to us. You can turn them off in Settings → Notifications or in your device settings.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we'll help remove it.
How long data is kept
Game progress stays on your device until you delete it. We don't hold any copy. Data collected by Google for ads or purchases is kept according to Google's retention policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Because we don't hold personal data ourselves, most requests are best handled by:
- Consent: Settings → Ad privacy choices in the game.
- Ad data held by Google: https://myaccount.google.com and your device's ad settings.
- Game progress: uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
For anything else, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Belgium: the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, https://www.dataprotectionauthority.be), or the authority where you live.
International transfers
Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update it at this address and change the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the game or its store listing.
